Wordless Wednesday: I just love fall colors

As I am coming around the corner to turn into my driveway this tree stands out. It only looks like this for about a week. It's green during the summer and all of a sudden it bursts into color and then the leaves fall off. I just think it is so beautiful and being surrounded by evergreens it just pops.

I look forward to seeing it every year.

  1. Gosh that is so pretty! We got drenched in rain so bad our fall colors just didn't peak like they usually do.

  2. So pretty. I absolutely love the fall. Our trees are already bare. We did see beautiful fall colors for a good couple of weeks, though.

  3. Very pretty! It always amazes me how fast the leaves fall. They seem to go from green to on the ground in a blink of the eye.

  18. Really stands out among the green!
We have many trees! And one always seems to change first. this year the weather didn't cooperate and after they finally changed the rains started, so now we are buried in mountains of soggy leaves! Ickk!

I signed up to follow you! thanks for visiting my blog for WW too!

  19. I grew up in Miami - which means we never had seasons - since moving to metro DC I love fall and the burst of color!

  20. I live in Miami, it's true, there are no seasons or beautiful changes of colors. I'll enjoy the fall through your photo! I wouldn't know it was fall otherwise.
